Wonderful setting! Alice in Wonderland! What a lovely scene, Sylvanako! The rabbit looks so cute with the glasses, the clock and the umbrella.
Looking forward to more pictures of your new project! Fairy tales, maybe?

This is so beautiful! I love the characters that shine through in your stories, and how perfect you manage to make everything look when the figures are so tiny. The scenery and leaves are especially gorgeous, and I love the tiny toadstools- it reminds me of the original stop-motion animation as it looks so brilliantly to scale and detailed.
Thank you all for the kind words, there will be some photos from the Alice in Wonderland story coming but maybe I will make some more fairy tales themes in the future!I had made these little mushrooms from fimo so I can use them in my photos! I made the path with glue and cinnamon powder!I also made two new trees but the rabbit hole tree is from a playmobil set. And a funny detail: the watch frame is actually my wedding ring!

sylvanako I love that your critters are celebrating Easter and dressed up as Alice in Wonderland, that's what is happening now in Animal Crossing Pocket Camp and it's such a fun combination! :D I want to pair holidays with more children's stories like this. I wonder what Alice and Wonderland would be like with a Christmas theme? Or Halloween? Wow...I think I might do a story like that. (I love Halloween, my favourite holiday of the year.)
I don't play ACPC but happened to see some snapshots on istagram of the Alice theme! Very cute! I'd love to make some more fairytale themes, it would be so much fun!

I told ya it would be a good idea to explore that hole, Alice!
I LoVE it so much, the falling photo is cute, but the suspense of "what lies inside" right before entering the cave is still my favourite one.
As a kid, I always had a tendency towards playing in holes and ditches and would constantly freak my parents out because of this, as all the cool little hidey holes usually contained spiders, snakes, scorpions etc... But what if I found that magical portal to Sylvania!?

Alice in Wonderland was one of my favourite movies as a child! (Funny thing, my parents wouldn’t let me read the book until I was a teen.)
I can barely wait to see what comes next!

DeleteThank you all my dear friends for the feedback, Christina, froglover, Fox, Amaia, Jenny, Terra, Mosswoofells, Candy, Cutata, Phillipa, Santie, Chill, Kirsty Corntop, I really think the Alice theme is very inspiring and I could think of so many scenes that could be done! But I will not recreate all the story, only some of the scenes I find more appealing!

That reminds me that as a kid I loved pretending (among many others) I was Bugs Bunny hunted by Elmer Fudd or Taz and I would hide in holes or under furniture especially under my grandma's dining table crunching almonds like they were carrots! Haha! Maybe now playing with sylvanians is the portal to the world of children imagination!

Aww, that baby otter-fly! So cute! Wonderful pictures! Thank you so much for sharing those enchanting scenes, Sylvanako!
Thanks a lot everyone, for these photos I used real size elements like fake flowers, plants, leaves and rocks. The Baby otter-fly was hanging there by a thread, with his paper wings on and wouldn't stay still, it was spinning all the time making things difficult for me to take its photo in the right angle, haha!

I hope you can find ways to re-use them, as they look so nice. The amusement park idea sounds perfect, or maybe someone has a giant mushroom farm?

Wow, amazing! You did a fine job that it's hard to tell what has been Photoshopped and what has actually been made. Were the stripes on the cat Photoshopped on or did you actually paint it? Where did you get that tail?
I'm always in awe of your photos!

This is a stunningly beautiful installment to the series! I am loving the Cheshire cat  Like Candy said, you've done such a great job that I can't tell what's been crafted and what is photo editing. Brilliant work
LadyLollipop wrote:
WHAT!? I had to go back just to realise that the Cheshire cat was not wearing a jersey as I originally thought. Holy Cow!!! That is spectacularly done, Sylvanako.
Many thanks! I wish I had an extra Fisher cat child to make a custom Cheshire! But I didn't want to harm my critters, I bought most of my collection new or in excellent condition so although I put them in some trouble while taking the photos by posing them or changing their clothes, I always try to keep them intact.
DeleteI think the Fishers are closer to the story's cat than the actual sylvanian Cheshires because of the color and stripes. So I used my Linus Fisher as a model and I added some body stripes and a tail with photoshop(oh and a wide smile too)! The tail is actually an edited one from a Mulberry Racoon (decolored and modified)! :shifty: At least my forest is all crafted and I am very happy how my two new trees (the front ones) turned out! Haha, in time I will become a clay expert
